As a general dentist, Karen's team is experienced in providing a wide range of treatments and have also taken numerous continuing education courses on Invisalign, implant dentistry and endodontics.
We enjoy treating patients of all ages from your baby’s first visit to geriatrics.
Our team is also able to speak Cantonese and Mandarin.

MEET THE TEAM
DR. KAREN LIANG
DMD
Karen grew up in Vancouver, graduating from UBC with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then moved to Boston to obtain her DMD degree. Karen graduated from Boston University’s School of Dental Medicine with Summa Cum Laude, the highest honours awarded to the top 7% of students in her graduating class. She also won the Delta Dental Award for Excellence in Public Health.

Karen has practiced dentistry for over 14 years serving the Richmond, New Westminster and Vancouver Oakridge communities. This dental practice was founded by Dr. Stephen Yuen in 1991, who owned and operated the practice until his retirement in 2019.
Karen strongly believes in providing comfortable and quality dental care to her patients, treating everyone as she would a family member. With lifelong continuing education, she can keep patients informed and guide them through the treatment planning process. She has completed courses through the Bites Institute Dental Implant Training Center, Kois Center for advanced education in occlusion, and is a certified provider of Invisalign and Neuromodulators. She is currently a member of the Canadian Dental Association and the BC Dental Association.
When out of the office, Karen is spending time with her husband and being a mommy to 2 young kids. She enjoys travelling, trying new restaurants, riding her Peloton, and bubble tea!
DR. ERIC YIM
DDS
Since graduating with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2014, Eric has continued to pursue his passion by providing care in the Burnaby, Coquitlam, and Surrey communities. Because he tailors care to each patient’s needs and provides treatment with a gentle touch, many patients have been so relaxed that they’ve fallen asleep in his chair! He is also great with children, and brings a sense of calmness and fun that all kids love.

Eric keeps up to date with the latest dental skills and technology through numerous courses and conferences. He believes that staying current with the advances in dentistry and a patient-centered approach are necessary to provide the best and most comfortable patient care possible. He is a member of the Canadian Dental Association, the British Columbia Dental Association, and the College of Dental Surgeons of BC.
Outside of work, Eric loves spending time and going on walks with his wife and baby boy. He also enjoys playing board games and volleyball with his friends.
Bennie was born and raised in Vancouver, graduating from UBC's Bachelors of Science program. He completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Minnesota, and has since returned to Canada.
DR. BENNIE CHAN

Growing up, Bennie spent a lot of time in the dental chair as a patient. As such, he understands that the dental clinic may be an anxious environment for some. He empathizes with his patients and will always try to spend time explaining things that can be easily understood. As dental knowledge is always expanding and new advances bring new treatment approaches, he continues to collaborate and learn from mentors across the lower mainland and extends his education outside of Canada. He is an active member of the Kois Center in Seattle, of the Canadian Dental Association and of the BC Dental Association.
Outside of clinical practice, he enjoys exploring BC’s backyard, hiking trails in the summer and snowboarding and camping in the winter. You might also catch him on the badminton courts as well.
